On Saturday, 13th of April, 2013 the Swiss chapter of the Nigerian in Diaspora Organization Europe (NIDOE) in conjunction with Nigeria union of Switzerland (NUS) and other regional organizations and interest groups of Nigerians in Switzerland organized a summit that brought together all Nigerians in Switzerland together. One of the aims of the summit was to bring together the entire Nigeria communities in Switzerland with a view to forge "One Nation with One Destiny". In this regard NIDOE believed that rather than forgetting, we should understand our differences. Hence the need to dialogue among ourselves.

The Meeting was also meant to intimate the community with the ongoing NIDOE-Swiss and SDC migration partnership project between the governments of Nigeria and Switzerland. Two projects were presented at the summit, one related to the above mentioned NIDOE-Swiss/SDC project and NIDCoop project. At the end of the summit the two projects as listed were presented:

I would not have joined issues with you as I do not know you and honestly I am not interested in knowing you but I would like to correct the heap of insults you rained on the memory of late Chief Mathew Agbonmagbe Okupe, who incidentally has not done anything to wrong you.

A federal capital territory,FCT high court has summoned the clerk of the National Assembly,Alhaji Abubakar Salisu Maikasuwa and his House of Representatives counterpart, Mr Mohammed Ataba Sani-Omolori to appear before it tomorrow, Wednesday November 23, 2011 over the on-going trial of the former speaker of the House of Reps, Dimeji Bankole and his deputy, Usman Bayero Nafada who are facing a 17 count criminal charge before the court.

The trial judge, Justice Sulaiman Belgore issued the order to the two top management officers as well as the Director of Finance of the National Assembly, Mr Bukoye Lasisi following  compalints by the prosecution counsel, Festus Keyamo that the NASS officials were under pressure from some powerful interests not to fulfil their initial commitment to stand as witnesses in the case.

A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory was on Monday, November 21st, 2011, told how a former Speaker of the House of Representatives,  Dimeji Bankole  and his deputy, Usman Bayero Nafada unilaterally increased allowances of members from N17 million per quarter to N42 million per quarter, amounting to N60.480 billion annually.

At the resumed hearing of the case before Justice Sulaiman Belgore, two witnesses, Adeniyi Adebayo and Ibrahim Ahmed led by prosecution counsel, Festus Keyamo, gave  a testimony explaining how the Bankole and Nafada- led House approved  the increment and took a loan of N42billion from two banks to fund the increment. Besides, the witnesses said that Dimeji and Nafada   diverted the excess accruing from the  loan into their personal accounts.
