Nigeria's Dana Air Plane Heading from Abuja to Lagos Crashes

Dana airline plane crashed on the outskirt of Lagos.

The plane had 153 passengers on board when it crashed.

The casualty is unknown according to Mr. Femi Oke-Osanyinpolu, the Lagos state emergency manager. Also Mr. Harold Denuren, Head of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) , confirmed the crash of the airline. He said the Dana Air flight was heading from Lagos to Abuja in Nigeria.

Now, this raises the question about the LEVEL OF CARE, those involved in ALL ASPECTS of our civil aviation, take in the promotion of SAFETY, and the prevention of AVOIDABLE INCIDENTS and ACCIDENTS.

One is inevitably left to conclude that the MAJORITY are in it mostly, for what they can get out of the industry, rather than what they can contribute; often back-biting each other to secure the position that enables them to award large high paying contracts to purchase the ever-so dodgey second-hand refurbished equipment, prevalent in Nigerian aviation, and allows them to make decisions as to which company gets to operate services in our AIRSPACE

I have been in Aviation for quite a while, and in the last 36years; in Aerospace medicine, having served with the Nigerian Air Force, where I was in charge; for recovering all of the casualties of the Sao Tome-en route F27 air disaster at Agbarho, in the Niger delta in 1980, to working on the Presidential flight line, at the United States Air Force, Andrews Air Force Base in Washington DC; the home of AIR FORCE ONE.
I must say that it is an unusual event to have a double engine failure, in military aviation, where accidents are fairly frequent, because of greater risks; not to talk about a DOUBLE ENGINE FAILURE in civil aviation, where the level of safety is higher, and should be necessarily so, because by definition, these aircraft carry civilians and fly mostly, over populated areas.

It is sad that Dana Air has just taken the lives of my inocents brothers and sisters.What i have been waiting to hear is the the ceo of Dana is locked up right now and the avaition person who passed the plane of 22years to fly in nigeria. Because of our coruption hence those people died, so these people have got blood in their hands.Nigeria, it is time we wake up and think about what is happening to us. Imagine this Dana director coming to nigeria to take advantage of our stupidness because we want quick money.They come to nigeria with their people to establish and make us do the odd jobs for them when they are notready to theach us any thing but because we are nigerias and he gives big money to one person, it is okay.This is not about the president but is about evrybody getting ready for a revolution. thing cannot happen there so wake up everybody and lest rise to this. boko haram should stop wath they are doing and let every body join together for our lovely country NIGERIA
